Chennai: With an aim to get an admission in any of the private colleges in the state, more than 80 per cent of CBSE class 10 students migrate to state board from class 11 while in the rest of the country, students continue studying Central syllabus.
CBSE chairman Vineet Joshi in an informal chat with reporters said that it was only in Tamil Nadu that about 80 per cent of the class 10 students take board exam to move out of the CBSE system.
