Directorate of Medical Education & Training (DMET) Odisha was established as Head of Department during 1975 like other Heads of Department in the state. The aims of the Organisation is to improve the “Education” in the field of Medical Science and impart training to medical personnel in the state which involves under graduate, post graduate students, Dental and training of paramedical & nursing personnel (both in degree& diploma ) and other related health programme. The main back ground of its establishment is to improve and close monitoring of the institutions as the supervising Head of the Department.

Details of qualifying disciplines for GATE 2015
The GATE 2015 application process is set to begin on September 1, 2014. Candidates can apply for the same online through the zonal GATE websites of IISc or any of the seven IITs.
The GATE 2015 score will be valid for a period of three years from the date of announcement of results. All the papers in GATE 2015 will be held in online mode only and some exams will be conducted in multiple sessions.
Important dates:
Start of application process: September 1, 2014
Last date for submission of online application: October 1, 2014
Last date for request for change in the choice of examination city: November 21, 2014
Availability of admit card: December 17, 2014
GATE 2015 online examination: January 31, 2015 to February 14, 2015
Announcement of results: March 12, 2015

DTE of Karnataka has released the Exam time table for April May 2014 exam. So students going to write 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th 6th semester can get their Karnataka polytechnic time table 2014 from this post. Every year DTE Karnataka conduct the exam in the month of April / May and November / December.

For the year 2014 DTE Karnataka released their Polytechnic date sheet or Polytechnic Exam Time Table for the semester exams. So students can download their Polytechnic Exam Time table in the official site. Last year DTE Diploma Exam has started from 25 April 2013 and Ended on 16 May 2013. This year also DTE Karnataka conduct the semester exams in the Month of April and May. But those are tentative dates only.This Year 2014 Karnataka Diploma Exam will start from 03 May 2014 and Ends on 19 05 2014. Students can download their download form the below link.
