KCET 2014 Counselling will be conducted for admission into the engineering, medical and dental professional undergrad programs for the academic year 2014-15 in the state of Karnataka .
The candidates eligible for counselling will be required to attend the document verification process as per the modified schedule in anyone of the nearest helpline centre to become eligible for Option entry. Candidates need to carry their documents in original for verification in any of the KEA’s helpline centre detailed here. The verification of original documents will be carried out at once for all the courses/discipline for which the candidate is eligible for.

SCHEDULE FOR GENERAL MERIT, ALL RESERVED CATEGORIES AND ALL SPECIAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES
All General Merit, Reserved Categories and Special Category candidates can verify their documents in any of the assigned Helpline Centres as per the following schedule according to their rank. However, Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates, Jammu & Kashmiri Migrant candidates, Defence, Ex-Defence, Scouts & Guides, CAPF, Ex-CAPF and Anglo Indian and NCC (only 8th Preference) and Sports (only 5th Preference) should attend the documents verification in Bangalore centre only as pertheir ranks.
The candidate who becomes eligible after verification will only be considered for entry of options. The candidate will have the choice to enter all the options in the discipline to which he/she is eligible. Candidate can enter the options for all the discipline at once. If the candidate is eligible for multiple disciplines i.e., both for Medical / Dental and Engineering or for Medical / Dental / Farm Science courses/ B.Pharm, options can be exercised for all the discipline in the same entry form.

Karnataka CET 2014 Counselling – Important Points
- Counselling or Admission Process shall be done on the basis of Ranks obtained by a applicant in KCET 2014.
- It shall start with online entry of options, verification of documents at 13 designated centers.
- After the verification is completed successfully, applicants shall be issued a “Verification Slip” which must be preserved carefully till the admission process is over.
- After that the options for KCET 2014 Counselling can be filled ONLINE from the place of applicants’ convenience or from the help centers.
- Applicants can submit as many course and college choices as they want, but they have to arrange them in the order of priority.
- Applicants, eligible for both Medical and Engineering can fill options for both Medical and Engineering for Karnataka CET 2014 Counselling. They have to keep them in order of their preferences.
- There shall be NO Provision for adding options after the first round.
