Admissions to engineering colleges are done based on the merit secured in the examinations like Nagaland Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE).There are some conditions that candidates need to fulfill before taking up this exam.
Eligibility for applying to the JEE examinations conducted for engineering students:
1. The candidate must be a member of any tribe of Nagaland.
2. He/she is a resident of the state and whose either of the parents is enrolled in the electoral roll of the state government five years preceeding the year of application.
3. The basic eligibility is clearing of 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized university.
4. And should have a good score in well qualified exam.
