The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), was set up (formerly Competent Authority Entrance Examinations) primarily for conducting entrance examinations for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate professional programmes in Jammu and Kashmir. The Board has been executing this task fairly and efficiently since its inception and it is in this context scope of its jurisdiction in the conduct of such examinations is expanding now.
