The state of Gujarat conducts the TET exam for willing candidates. The TET conducted in Gujarat is called GTET. The Gujarat TET 2013 examinations are regulated by the conducting and governing authority. The candidates have to pass this test in order to find a career in teaching professionally.
Gujarat TET 2014 Eligibility criteria:
The primary section can be applied to by anybody having a higher secondary degree with a minimum of forty five percentages of marks. Not only this, the person has to have a minimum of diplomas of two years duration in special education and also in elementary education.
In the secondary section the candidate has to be a graduate with a minimum of fifty percentages of marks. Along with that the candidate has to have a year’s degree in special education and also a four year’s degree in education. Post graduate students can also apply but they should have a year’s degree in special education as well as elementary education.
The degrees should be recognized by the NCTE and the RCI. The students should be confident with their language skills and they should be fluent in the language chosen as the medium for teaching.
Gujarat TET 2014 Exam pattern:
The GTET examination has two papers. Both the papers consist of 150 marks in total. The first paper has five parts each having thirty marks in the form of MCQs. The second paper has three parts consisting of thirty marks and two more parts having sixty marks. The pass percentage is sixty.
The examination for GTET (Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test) always takes place in two papers

GTET 1

GTET 2

GTET 1 is for those candidates and teachers who are willing to teach classes 1st to 5th that is Lower Primary School
GTET 2 is for Upper Primary School who wants to teach Class 6th to 8th.
Eligibility or Qualification
GTET 1
Candidates should have passed their senior secondary with minimum marks 45% or above after candidates appearing in final 2 years diploma in Diploma in Elementary Education/ Final 2 years diploma in Diploma in Special Education/ Four year Bachelors of Elementary Education/BA and BSC

GTET 2

Candidates have passed his/her senior secondary with 50% marks and above and completed BA and BSC with 50% or above/appearing in final 2 year in DED with consideration of 50% marks as minimum/appearing in final 4 year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.ED), BA, and BSC (ED)
About Syllabus and Examination Pattern
As we made searches of syllabus, candidates need to select their examination criteria because of for both GTET the syllabus are different.
GTET 1
In this examination, candidates have to study their subjects as of Lower Primary Classes; candidates have to go through the NCERT Syllabus of 1st to 5th classes. The Contents candidates would found in there examination and also Marks Schemes.

Passing Criteria
Candidates will score 60% in GTET (Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test) are considered as pass and relaxation will be 5% provided to candidates belonging from SC/ST, OBC, and Physically Handicap.
Passed candidates will get advantage of GTET Certificate with the validity of 7 years candidates have no restriction in to improving his/her marks by sitting in test again and again
